Have you ever heard the phrase: you have to get yourself out of your own way?
These two truths are how you get yourself out of your own way so that you can have what you truly desire in life.
First, I’m not talking about finding a car spot in the parking lot, or ways to fix, improve or change your life because you feel empty within or a lack within, this article contains 2 truths that will change your life only for heart-desires.
What’s this catch?
You can use the truth to change your life, but you must realize that truth only works when those things you desire are “true for you…”, or from your heart.
Life isn’t designed to give you every single thought desire that crosses your mind, and if you think about it, would you have enough space or time for all of those things? No.
So if you focus your energy into only what your heart desires, you can have those things, without distracting yourself with the things your head thinks you want.
Once you get really honest with yourself about what those things are, you can use these two truths:
Truth 1: “You can have anything you want as long as you don’t need it.” ~ Amir Zoghi
Need is a fear based energy and anything that comes from need is actually rooted in a sense of lack within you. You cannot—with true satisfaction—manifest what you love when you are in need, or therefore, in the lack of the very thing you desire. When you remember that, you’ll allow things to come to you rather than chase things.
Important minor detail: when you are in need of something, or driving a desire out of fear, it’s not that it won’t manifest because it will, but you will still feel a sense of lack or need, or insecurity of now losing what’s been manifested. You would have experienced this somewhat like when you set out on a goal and you complete it and think to yourself, “is that it?”
The problem: Needing something that you would otherwise love out of fear or lack.
The solution: Rather than focusing on what you desire when you feel a need for something, focus on all the things you do have in your life right now, feel abundant in that, and give space to your desire until the need drops away.
Sometimes you have to be patient, but when the need melts away by focusing on what you already have, you will realize you’re more abundant than you thought, and you can re-connect with what you originally desired out of a pure love rather than need.
It’s a win-win.
Truth 2: If you want something in life, ask for it — but from within your heart first.
It’s not as important to ask another for what you desire as it is to connect with the feeling of love that you have for something. If you are in your heart, then you’re in an open energy, which is the energy of receiving. It’s when you’re open that you attract more possibilities in your life.
And actually, you don’t really “attract” more possibilities! You merely realize that those possibilities have always and will always be there, when you’re open because openness is love and love is infinite.
The problem: Asking for something that you may, or may not, deserve will get you results ONLY sometimes.
The solution: “Don’t look for why you don’t have, look for why you deserve to have.” Amir Zoghi
If you can focus on the feeling of why you love something with your whole heart, you will feel as though you already have it. When you are one with something, it’s yours. First feel it in your heart, then be patient as you realize you deserve it the more you connect with the feeling of love for it.
NOTE: You don’t need to believe in yourself, or become a deserving person; the way you deserve something is by loving it completely.
The truth is that it’s impossible for you not to have what you truly love. Love is an infinite energy; and it’s your natural state of being.
Because think of a time, right now, where something you loved just landed in your lap; you didn’t have to chase it, or work hard for it, it just happened effortlessly and it was because you simply had love for it.
The best part is, you can take these two truths and apply them to your every day life and you can live life like that all of the time, not just some of the time.
I’ll leave you with this: it’s not an overnight fix.
Applying the truth to your life is a journey and desires are just the parameters that set you on a path to experience yourself in infinite possibilities.
