Manifestation and the “Law of attraction” have received a lot of attention in the recent past.
As people learn more about it, people learn ways of using it for themselves, which is exactly what it is for! It’s for you! It’s to help you!
Of course, there are many like me who have gotten a little confused as to how to use the laws of attraction.
Here are some tips I learned as I began applying the laws of attraction to my life:
1. Manifestation only reveals what is already there.
Us humans, for all our power, we may not actually have “created” anything through “manifestation.”
When we “manifest” we are actually setting the conditions for something to appear! When it appears we say, oh this exists now! Wonderful.
The truth is, that it couldn’t exist if it wasn’t possible to appear.
All something needs to exists really, is the “right conditions.”
We’re not trying to bring something into existence. We are simply trying to make it appear.
Like how a flame needs dry, flammable material, oxygen and a spark, so too does what we want to manifest has conditions!
And the truth is there is energy all around us. Just breathe in if you don’t believe me. Your breath gives you energy — don’t breathe and things can get really bad!
So long as the conditions are possible, the manifestation already exists.
And if you can set the conditions, the manifestation will appear. The manifestation exists in the conditions.
You are not making something appear of space! You are simply setting the conditions for it to appear! The energy is there!
That being said…
2. Manifestation is based on the energy already here.
I’m not going to argue how the universe was made. All theories on its creation must agree on one thing — it took a whole lot of energy.
Enough energy to make and sustain a universe really. This energy is abundant around us, which is why we are able to manifest.
Without energy, work cannot be done. It’s that simple.
There must be energy sent somewhere if something is to be done. Our minds affect energy, since we are actually energy.
Science has already proven that it’s quite possible to turn a wave into a particle, and a particle into a wave! All matter has potential energy, meaning it can be changed.
When the matter has exhausted all its potential energy, it has converted fully into energy!
It even takes energy to propel the universe through time. This energy that constantly ages us and moves the clock is energy we can interact with our minds.
Of course…
3. The laws of attraction mean more than just “thinking.”
One of the main criticisms of the laws of attraction is that people think that it means you can just sit there, think about money, happy things, and it just falls from the sky! YAY!
If all it took was that, we’d have no reason to do anything.
However, everyone uses the laws of attraction. Everyone.
When a person paints they are attracting a painting into their lives, the same goes for the person writing a book.
But a painter cannot simply “think” about a painting, and poof! Its there! No, the painter must act to bring his painting into physical being.
That being said, the laws of attraction does mean that you just “think”.
But before I sound contradicting, ask yourself, what is an action really? If you think about it, an action is just a thought with effort behind it.
We don’t have to even think about some actions, such as walking or wiggling our fingers, but it’s only when we put effort into walking and our fingers does it happen.
The thought cannot just end in the mind. Effort must be put towards it.
The ancient masters knew that action was just another type of thought, which is why they emphasized on taking care of the thought.
They understood that the thought is the basis of all things.
4. Manifestation is only possible when you decide it’s possible.
We cannot manifest things we do not believe are possible, because when we do not believe something is possible we are not likely to follow after it.
Even if we do and we keep on the idea that it’s not possible, we will end in failure because we will wear ourselves down with such negative thinking!
Only when you decide something is possible, will it become possible.
This is very much along the lines of finding patterns where there aren’t any.
Because you believe the pattern is there, it appears to be there.
Once you make the movement in your mind to even give something the chance it is possible, you will start trying to make it happen.
If you do not believe it can happen, it won’t happen.
Much like finding nonexistent patterns, things become possible when you believe it’s possible.
And you must start believing now, because…
5. The Laws of attraction are all about the living in the moment, but not in the way people often think.
When people say live in the now, it usually means party like it was your last day on earth. Forget about the future and the past and just relax now!
When the ancient masters said “live in the now” it meant something slightly different.
The ancient masters understood that the present moment is only accumulation of the past, which means the future is the accumulation of the present.
Simply put, the future exists in the present.
When the masters say live in the now, they don’t mean forget about the future. They mean live in the now as though you are making your future now!
Every action you make may be setting your future right now! This might be a little hard to swallow, because coupled with tip 3 means that you may have to act now to make your future.
Maybe you can’t just sit down and watch TV, and maybe this means you might have to miss a party or two.
It may mean working on the weekends when you usually use that time to mindlessly surf the internet.
However you spend your time is going to affect your future.
This doesn’t mean you can’t relax every now and then. It just means you’re going to have work for your future.
We all are.
