8 years ago, Sam was living the dream: happily married, financially well off, and the father of 2 wonderful children. But Sam’s life took a turn in October 2006 when he was involved in a fatal car accident, where he was initially pronounced “dead” at the scene. Sam astounded doctors by not only surviving the incident, but walking again after only a year of recovery. After years of medical treatment, Sam left his accident with an amputated right arm, a permanent disability in his right leg, but a tower of power in human spirit. From this experience emerged the Sam that the world knows today and the idea of, “Bouncing Forward.”
Since 2006, Sam claims his life has never been better and is someone who whole heartedly adores each day he is alive. Featured in USA Today and The New York Times, Sam is now inspiring and motivating individuals and companies like all over the world with his positive approach to life, and resilient mind. He was awarded “Tasmanian Young Australian of the Year” in 2009 and has since grown his community of followers.
He is a true testament to what psychologists and spiritual gurus have been saying for years: the internal world dominates the external world.
Sam challenges the regular notion of simply “bouncing back” from a difficulty; his catch-phrase “Bouncing Forward,” will change the way you deal with adversity by teaching you to find success and opportunity in crisis.
We’re now delivering his story and his message on Omvana. Whether you are overcoming adversity or not, Sam’s message boils down to one simple idea that resonates with anyone: You only have one precious life. How will you choose to live it?
